China Suppliers Factory FNUH-L602 Polyurethane Anti-Slip Paint for Durable Industrial and Safety Applications

Polyurethane anti-slip paint is a premium, two-component coating known for its exceptional performance. This high-quality solution offers outstanding wear resistance, superior adhesion, and effective slip prevention. Ideal for various applications, including industrial floors, ship decks, bridges, ramps, and pedestrian pathways, it is especially sought after in environments where safety and durability are paramount. As a trusted choice among China suppliers, our factory provides top-tier polyurethane anti-slip paint, ensuring you meet the rigorous demands of any project while maintaining high safety standards

    Product Features
    • High anti-slip performance, with controllable surface roughness (typically with a dry friction coefficient ≥0.6 and a wet friction coefficient ≥0.4), effectively preventing slipping of personnel or vehicles
    • Excellent durability, the polyurethane system endows the coating with high wear resistance, impact resistance, and good flexibility, making it suitable for high-traffic or heavy-load areas
    • With strong weather resistance (aliphatic type), if aliphatic isocyanate (such as HDI) is used, it can be used outdoors for a long time without yellowing or losing its gloss, making it suitable for exposed areas such as decks and platforms
    • Resistant to chemical corrosion, oil, water, weak acids and alkalis, and salt spray, suitable for harsh environments such as marine and industrial settings
    • Strong adhesion, good adhesion to steel, concrete, old coatings and other substrates
    • Customizable texture and color, aggregate size (coarse/medium/fine), and color (gray, green, red, yellow, etc.) can be adjusted according to needs, balancing safety and aesthetics
    Recommended Use
Used as anti slip finish for facilities with high decorative requirements, such as bridges, ships, aprons, offshore platforms, decks, and stairs.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
    • Q1 What makes this polyurethane anti-slip coating suitable for both indoor and outdoor use?
The aliphatic polyurethane formulation (using HDI isocyanate) provides outstanding UV resistance, preventing yellowing and gloss loss over time. Combined with excellent weather resistance and chemical resistance to salt spray, oil, and moisture, it performs reliably in exposed outdoor environments such as decks, bridges, and offshore platforms, as well as indoor high-traffic areas.
    • Q2 What is the minimum surface preparation required before applying this coating?
The surface must be clean, dry, and free from all contaminants including oil, grease, salt, water, and dust. Application should be carried out at a surface temperature at least 3°C [5°F] above the dew point to avoid condensation, and relative humidity must remain below 85% throughout application and curing.
    • Q3 How long does it take for the coating to fully cure, and when can it be repainted?
At 20°C, the coating is dry to touch within 1.5 hours and fully dry within 9 hours. The minimum recoating interval at 20°C is 10 hours. At lower temperatures (10°C), full drying takes up to 12 hours with a minimum recoating interval of 24 hours. Higher temperatures accelerate the curing process.
    • Q4 Can the anti-slip texture and color be customized for specific project requirements?
Yes. The aggregate size (coarse, medium, or fine) and color (including gray, green, red, yellow, and more) can be adjusted to meet project-specific safety and aesthetic requirements. This makes it suitable for applications where both functionality and visual appearance are important, such as pedestrian walkways, commercial ramps, and architectural platforms.
    • Q5 What substrates is this coating compatible with?
This coating demonstrates strong adhesion to a wide range of substrates including steel, concrete, and properly prepared old coatings. Ensuring the substrate is correctly prepared and within the specified overcoating intervals will maximize adhesion and long-term performance.
    • Q6 What is the potlife of the mixed product, and how should it be applied?
The potlife varies with temperature: approximately 60 minutes at 10°C, 50 minutes at 20°C, and 40 minutes at 30°C. The product should be mixed at a Primer to Hardener volume ratio of 2.5:1 and applied immediately using airless spraying (nozzle pressure 14–21 MPa, nozzle diameter 0.6–0.8 mm). Mixed material must be used within the potlife to ensure proper curing and performance.
