    Application
    Construction Method
    Airless spraying
    Nozzle pressure: 14 MPa – 21 MPa
Nozzle hole diameter: 0.6 mm – 0.8 mm
If applying by brush or roller, additional coats will be required to achieve the specified dry film thickness. Spray data is for reference only and may be adjusted. Pressure is applicable to material temperatures of 20°C [68°F]. Brush and roller application is only suitable for line marking and small area touch-ups.
    Construction Conditions
During construction and curing, the surface temperature of the substrate must be above 5°C [41°F].
To avoid condensation, the substrate temperature during construction should be at least 3°C [5°F] higher than the dew point, clean and dry.
Relative humidity: The relative humidity during construction and curing must be less than 85%.
    Surface Treatment
    • Remove oil, grease and other contaminants with a suitable cleaning agent.
    • High-pressure water cleaning removes salt, detergents and other contaminants.
    • Surface blasted to Sa 2½ (ISO 8501-1) / SP 10 (SSPC).
    • Remove dust, sand and loose materials.
    • Surface blasted to PSa 2½ (ISO 8501-2) / SP 10 (SSPC).
    • High pressure water is sprayed onto Wa 2 1/2 (ISO 8501-4).
    • Small areas can be cleaned by hand or electric tools instead of sandblasting.
    • The degree of flash rust is not higher than FR L (ISO 8501-4).
    • The surface of the substrate reaches Medium (G) (ISO 8503-2).

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What surfaces is this paint suitable for?
This paint is designed for surface corrosion protection of metal and cement structures in marine and underwater environments. It provides excellent resistance to seawater and chloride ion penetration.
What is the recommended application method?
Airless spraying is the recommended method, using a nozzle pressure of 14–21 MPa and a nozzle hole diameter of 0.6–0.8 mm. Brush and roller application is only suitable for line marking and small area touch-ups, and additional coats will be required to achieve the specified dry film thickness.
What are the mixing ratio and pot life of this product?
The mixing ratio is Base : Hardener at 4:1 by volume. The pot life varies by temperature — approximately 6 hrs at 10°C, 4.5 hrs at 20°C, and 4 hrs at 30°C. Mixed product should be used within the specified pot life.
What surface preparation standard is required before application?
The substrate should be blasted to Sa 2½ (ISO 8501-1) / SP 10 (SSPC). All oil, grease, salt, dust, and loose materials must be removed. For previously coated surfaces, blasting to PSa 2½ (ISO 8501-2) is required. Flash rust must not exceed FR L (ISO 8501-4) and surface profile should reach Medium (G) per ISO 8503-2.
What environmental conditions are required during application and curing?
The substrate surface temperature must be above 5°C [41°F] and at least 3°C [5°F] above the dew point to prevent condensation. Relative humidity during construction and curing must remain below 85%.
What is the shelf life and storage condition for this product?
The storage period is 24 months when kept at 25°C. Components should be stored in their original sealed containers in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and ignition sources, as the flash point is 30°C [86°F].
