Application
Construction Method
- Method: Airless spraying
- Nozzle pressure: 14 MPa -21 MPa
- Nozzle hole diameter: 0.6mm-0.8mm
- If applying by brush or roller, additional coats will be required to achieve the specified dry film thickness. Spray data is for reference only and may be adjusted. Pressure is applicable to material temperatures of 20°C [68°F]. Brush and roller application is only suitable for line marking and small area touch-ups.
Construction Conditions
- During construction and curing, the surface temperature of the substrate must be above 5 ° C [41 ° F].
- To avoid condensation, the substrate temperature during construction should be at least 3 ° C [5 ° F] higher than the dew point, clean and dry.
- Relative humidity: The relative humidity during construction and curing must be less than 85%.
Surface Treatment
- Remove oil, grease and other contaminants with a suitable cleaning agent.
- High-pressure water cleaning removes salt, detergents and other contaminants.
- Surface blasted to Sa 2½ (ISO 8501-1) / SP 10 (SSPC).
- Remove dust, sand and loose materials.
- Surface blasted to PSa 2½ (ISO 8501-2) / SP 10(SSPC).
- High pressure water is sprayed onto Wa 2 1/2 (ISO 8501-4).
- Small areas can be cleaned by hand or electric tools instead of sandblasting.
- The degree of flash rust is not higher than FR L (ISO 8501-4).
- The surface of the substrate reaches Medium (G) (ISO 8503-2).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What are the primary protective properties of this paint?
The paint offers excellent corrosion resistance to seawater and provides high-performance shielding properties specifically against chloride ions.
Where is this product recommended for application?
It is highly recommended for the surface corrosion protection of both metal and cement structures located at sea or in underwater environments.
What is the mixing ratio and storage period for this product?
The mixing ratio is Base: hardener = 4:1 by volume. The product has a storage period of 24 months when kept at 25°C.
Can this paint be applied using a brush or roller?
Yes, but brush and roller applications are only suitable for line marking and small area touch-ups. Additional coats will be required when using these methods to achieve the specified dry film thickness.
What environmental conditions are required during application?
The substrate temperature must be above 5°C [41°F] and at least 3°C [5°F] higher than the dew point. The relative humidity during both construction and curing must be less than 85%.
What is the recommended surface preparation?
Remove oil, grease, salt, and contaminants using suitable agents and high-pressure water cleaning. Blast the surface to Sa 2½ (ISO 8501-1) / SP 10 (SSPC) or PSa 2½ (ISO 8501-2) / SP 10 (SSPC), and ensure all dust, sand, and loose materials are completely removed.
